I have been going to Valeo Fit 1000 for just over two months now and I can't get enough! The class helps me burn 1000 calories in an hour and I try to make it four times a week. Asiya makes this intense workout fun with her infectious energy, constantly mixing it up to keep it interesting. Just when I have time to learn the routines, it's a new week with new stuff. My body never adjusts and I always leave drenched in sweat, exhausted, with a huge smile on my face! We do a ton of latin-inspired hip hop and other hip hop dance for cardio in addition to interval training with a variety of different types of strength work, like light weights or resistance bands, and sometimes pompoms! My favorite is the hoola hoop. 4.5 minutes of hoola hooping is a really fun way to work on my abs. And of course there are results! My arms are definitely more toned, my waist is smaller, and believe it or not, my inner thighs have more definition! To sum it up: you gotta try it!

BEST WORKOUT EVER!!! I don't think you can find anything like this in Atlanta. The instructor/owner came up with this new way to lose 1000 calories in an hour. It is a fast paced workout so you won't have a chance to get bored or think that you are tired. One style of dance follows another, sometimes you dance with weights, other times with resistance bands. Half way through Asiya throws in hula hoops. It is just fun. You get to dance tango to improve your balance and rock & roll or Greek traditional dance for cardio. You never know what other new style of dance you get to try. Definitely worth a try. Park in a back and try to register for the class or come in the morning (classes tend to fill up fast).

I went to my first Valeo Fit 1000 class today and LOVED it. It was a real workout, but it changed so frequently that just as you were getting exhausted, you were on to another muscle group/type of exercise-- I loved that "mixing it up" meant different styles, hula hoops, coin belts, yoga balls, etc, instead of just a collection of step aerobics moves like at some fitness studios. The instructor, Asiya, was fun and engaging, and the class had students of all ages and body types. Once my Groupon classes run out, I'm definitely going to buy a class card.
